Medeama SC trio Jonathan Sowah, Fatawu Hamidu and Nurudeen Abdulai are expected to join the Yellow and Mauve traveling squad to Egypt on Wednesday ahead of their CAF Champions League group opener against Al Ahly.
The trio arrived in Ghana with the Black Stars team of the cockcrow on Wednesday and will leave with their club for Cairo ahead of the nerve-cracking game on Saturday.
Medeama will depart Ghana to Egypt at 1:30pm with a twenty-one man squad and eleven technical team members.
The Yellow and Mauves will hope to become the first Ghanaian side to beat the continental record holders in this first ever meeting in a continental clash.
Medeama saw off Nigerian side Remo Stars and Guinean side Horoya AC to qualify for the group stage in the preliminary rounds of the competition.
The Tarkwa based side will also square-off with Tanzania giants Young Africans and CD Belouizdad of Algeria in Group D of the inter-continental club competition.
