Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has been appointed by the Confederations of Africa Football, CAF, to officiate the Champions League game between Nigerian side Plateau United and ES Tunis from Tunisia.

The FIFA Referee will be the central official in the game that will be crucial for a berth in the group stages of the CAF Champions League.

He will be supported by Ghanaian officials on line one and two by Kwesi Acheampong Brobbey and Patrick Papala respectively with Abdul Latif Adaari as the fourth official to the game.

Rivers United went through to the next round after defeating FC Watanga of Liberia 3-1 in aggregate, first 3-0 in Port Harcourt at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium before losing 1-0 in Liberia a week after.

ES Tunis, on the other hand, had automatic qualifications on standby and will seeking a push to the group stages once more.
