Medeama Sporting Club's head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, boldly declares his team's ambition to secure victory against Al Ahly in the upcoming CAF Champions League clash.

In a pre-match interview, Adotey expresses confidence that his squad is prepared to "steal the show" against the formidable Al Ahly, emphasizing the Egyptian giants' status as the continent's football powerhouse.

Acknowledging the vast reputation of Al Ahly, Adotey positions Medeama as relative newcomers eager to make a statement on the African stage.

Despite being perceived as beginners, Adotey believes that when his team comes together, they will showcase their abilities, demonstrating that they too can leave an indelible mark in African football.

"We are coming to this game to steal the show at the expense of Al Ahly who shares the same ambition because I know Al Ahly is the giant of Africa. The number one rated team in Africa. We are just beginners but come together God will demonstrate what we can also show to Africa,” the head coach of Medeama Sporting Club said.

Having arrived in Egypt on Thursday, Medeama SC completes its preparations with focused training sessions on Thursday and Friday.

The head coach remains optimistic about their chances, echoing the sentiment that, when united, the team will reveal its potential.

The clash between Al Ahly and Medeama SC is set to commence at 7 pm on Saturday, promising an intense showdown in the CAF Champions League.
