Ghanaian topflight side, Dreams FC have left the shores of Ghana this morning en route to Mali ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup quarter-final game against Stade Malien de Bamako this weekend.
Dreams FC after finishing as winners of Group C in the first phase of the competition, got paired with the Malian giants who were also the runners up in Group D.
The 'Still Believe' outfit left the country with players, technical team members and other top officials and also received words of encouragement and assurance from the club's board earlier at the Kotoka International Airport before starting the journey.
The current FA Cup champions are expected to touch down in Bamako in the next few hours. They will train at the match venue either later today or early on Saturday for quick acclimatization to the state of the pitch, the weather differences and others.
The first leg of the tie is slated for this Sunday, March 31, at the 26 Mars, with the return leg slated for next week in Accra.
