Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies will now face Group A runner up Sporting Club Casablanca in the second semi final of the 2023 CAF Women's Champions League.
The 'Nana Mma' outfit redeemed themselves from the shocking loss last night to destroy Equatorial Guinean champions Huricanes by 3-1 to finish as winners of Group B over reigning champions ASFAR.
They will now cross swords with Moroccan side Sporting Club Casablanca in the semi final and will definitely hope to play in the final for the first time.
The Casablanca-based side after a draw and a defeat in their opening two matches, put up a spirited performance in their last group game to marmalize Tanzanian champions JKT Queens by an emphatic 4-1 to cruise into the last four.
In the other semi final, it will be the clash of the champions and the repeat of last year's final between Mamelodi Sundowns and ASFAR.
All two semi final matches are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Korhogo and San Pedro respectively.
