Cape Verde coach Pedro Brito “Bubista” has named his 26-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged across Canada, Mexico and the United States this summer.
The West African nation is making its first-ever appearance at the mundial and they will be facing Spain, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia in Group H.
The Blue Sharks will wrap up their preparations for the next month's tournament with an international friendly against Serbia on May 31, 2026.
Cape Verde will open their campaign against reigning European champions Spain on June 15 before they take on Uruguay and Saudi Arabia on June 21 and 27 respectively.
