Ghanaian attacking midfielder David Abagna Sanda registered his first-ever goal for Al Hilal against Coton Sport in the CAF Champions League on Tuesday afternoon.
Al Hilal have extended their lead on top of Group B after whipping Coton Sport 2-0 in their match-week four clash at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman.
Abagna opened the score for the Sudanese giants with a fine strike on 41st minute of the game after making a good use of a pass from Yousif Yagoub.
Coton Sport's hopes of making it out of the group ended after suffering their fourth straight defeat to the Blue and White lads. A late penalty converted by DR Congo international Makabi Lilepo sealed the home win for Al Hilal.
Abagna, 24, enjoyed 64 minutes of the game action before he was replaced by Fabrice Luamba Ngoma while his countryman Ibrahim Imoro lasted full duration for Al Hilal.
He has featured in all the four Champions League group stage games for Al Hilal.
Abagna joined Al Hilal in February from Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United for $200,000 after the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria.
