The Yellow and Mauves gloves man Muntari Tagoe has stated that fans should not exert much pressure on their current squad as most of them are young and inexperienced.

The skipper of the Tarkwa-based club is alarmed about the incessant pressure being mounted on them by their fans in order to deliver in their continental inter-club group stage competitions.

Medeama lost in their first group game against DR Congo giants TP Mazembe as they were down by 3-1 a fortnight ago in Lubumbashi and has again suffered another setback as they drew with Algerian side MO Bejaia in their second game at home on Wednesday.

These abysmal results has however infuriated their fans as they continue expressing their exasperations on the team performace.

Tagoe believes his charges cannot be faulted for their slow start in their Confederations Cup group phase campaign because their current squad are now in the build up process towards majurity.

The ex-Black Satellites goal post custodian has however urged fans to pardon them for their mistakes as they look forward to bounce back in winning ways.

"This current squad of the team is full of young and inexperienced players.We must learn how to pardon them if they make mistakes.We don't have to put much pressure on them as they are now coming up.They need time to continue with their build ups and with the right time,they will get to majurity and gain the necessary experience as we all yearn for a better results in the near future," Tagoe said after their game against MO Bejaia.

Medeama will play Young Africans of Tanzania in their next group game fixture on July 15.
