The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the final list of nominees for the highly anticipated 2024 CAF Awards, set to take place at the Palais des Congrès in Morocco.

The prestigious ceremony will recognize outstanding achievements across various categories, with five nominees competing for the Men’s Player of the Year award and three for the Women’s Player of the Year.

Final Nominees:

Men’s Player of the Year:

  • Simon Adingra (Côte d'Ivoire / Brighton & Hove Albion)
  • Serhou Guirassy (Guinea / Borussia Dortmund)
  • Achraf Hakimi (Morocco / PSG)
  • Ademola Lookman (Nigeria / Atalanta)
  • Ronwen Williams (South Africa / Mamelodi Sundowns)

Women’s Player of the Year:

  • Barbra Banda (Zambia / Orlando Pride)
  • Sanna Mssoudy (Morocco / AS FAR)
  • Chiamaka Nnadozie (Nigeria / Paris FC)

Other categories include Goalkeeper of the Year, Interclub Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Noteworthy nominees include Andre Onana (Manchester United) for Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year and Chiamaka Nnadozie (Paris FC) for Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year.

In addition, teams and clubs such as Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Al Ahly, and AS FAR will compete for the prestigious National Team and Club of the Year titles.
