Three-years after being diagnosed with a heart complication, former Nigerian youth football star Nnamdi Ofoborh has signed for English League Two side Swindon Town on a permanent deal, subject to EFL approval.

It caps a remarkable comeback for the 24-year-old, who joined Rangers from Bournemouth in 2021 in a free transfer.

However, just weeks into his stay at the club, he suffered a heart scare which kept him out of the field of play in his entire two-year stay for Rangers, and he eventually parted ways with the club in the summer of 2023.

In a new development, Swindon Town, an English League Two side have confirmed that they have signed Ofoborh after making a full recovery from his recent heart complications.

Ofoborh climbed off the bench in the 85th minute to play a part in the Robins game against Notts County on Friday, which they won 2-1.
