Former Asante Kotoko marksman, Franck Mbella Etouga believes that he achieved his mission at the club and that informed him to seek a new challenge.

The Cameronian striker joined reigning Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko before the start of 2021/22 season.

He scored an impressive twenty-one goals to propel the Baba Yara outfit to victory after failing to clinch the coveted trophy since 2014.

The 21-year-old completed a $400,000 move to Al Masry in Egypt from the Porcupine Warriors.

He has just a goal in eight games for Al Masry so far.

Franck Mbella Etouga insists that he made the decision to swap Asante Kotoko for Al Masry after helping them win the league.

"I made a choice to leave Asante Kotoko after helping them win the league title and I do not regret any decision to leave the team," he said.

"I'm a professional player and I stay focused to attain my goals in life. Currently, my focus is on Al Masry and to help the team to win glories," he added.
