Mohammed Polo has named Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Cameroon, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire as his favourites to claim the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) glory.
The legendary Ghanaian star believes that the Black Stars might reach the last four of the continental showpiece.
"With the team’s current performance, I think they can reach the semi-finals, but it will be difficult to win the title," the Hearts of Oak legend and former coach told btolat.com
Polo went ahead to name his favorites who will win the prestigious trophy; "Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Cameroon, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, in order.”
Ghana, who has been housed in Group B with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique - will kick off their AFCON campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14 at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny IN Abidjan.
