The former Real Tamale United skipper opened the score for the Sudanese giants with a fine strike on 41st minute of the game.
Abagna, 24, enjoyed 64 minutes of the game action before he was replaced by Fabrice Luamba.
He has featured in all the four Champions League group stage games for Al Hilal.
Abagna joined Al Hilal in February from Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United for $200,000 after the recent 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria.
