Ghanaian attacker Bernard Morrison climbed off the bench to score in Young Africans FC comfortable win over Muramo Gallants FC in the CAF Confederation Cup semis.
Two second half goals helped Young Africans FC to secure a 2-0 win advantage over the South African side in the first leg fixture of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup semi-final at the CCM Kirumba Stadium.
After lack of goals in the first half, Burkina Faso international Stephane Aziz Ki brilliantly snatched the opener for the Tanzanian club on the 64th minute before the Ghanaian international doubled the score in the dying embers.
Morrison registered his first goal of the CAF Confederation Cup for Young Africans FC by extending their lead to 2-0 in the 92nd minute of the game.
The 29-year-old was introduced on the 66th minute as replacement for Jesus Moloko.
Morrison has made four appearances for Young Africans FC in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup with a goal to his credit.
