Head coach of the Black Stars Chris Hughton has promised to leave no stone unturned as they come up against Central African Republic (CAR) in the final round of the Nations Cup qualifiers.
Hughton believes his side will do everything possible to maintain their good record at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi as they come up to secure qualification to next year's continental showpiece in Ivory Coast.
“Everybody knows what this game (Ghana v CAR) means,” he told the media during today's (Wednesday) presser ahead of the crucial encounter on Thursday.
“We will do everything that we can to get the result that we want to get. Preparation has been good. We are missing some players through injuries but it is also an opportunity for others.
“We are playing at home. We have a good record here and it is a record that we want to continue," Hughton added.
The Black Stars will nail-it-down with the Wild Beasts of Central African Republic on Thursday, September 7 at 4:PM (16:00 GMT).
