The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Africa are set to continue in June with Matchdays 3 and 4.
CAF announced on Tuesday morning that Daniel Laryea of Ghana will officiate the clash between Mauritania and Sudan in Nouakchott.
Mauritania, winless in their opening two games, lost 2-0 away to DR Congo and drew 0-0 against South Sudan, placing them 5th in Group B.
Meanwhile, James Akwasi Appiah’s Sudan are second in Group B after a 1-0 victory over DR Congo and a 1-1 draw with Togo.
The match between Mauritania and Sudan is scheduled for June 6th.
