Dutch-born Ghanaian teenager Jayden Addai has continued his impressive form, finding the back of the net for Jong AZ in their match against FC Emmen in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Friday.
Addai's goal served as a consolation for Jong AZ, who conceded an early lead to ultimately lose 2-1 at the De Oude Meerdijk Stadium in Emmen.
The 18-year-old attacker showcased his scoring prowess, notching his 9th goal in 10 matches, providing Jong AZ with the lead just ten minutes after the kickoff whistle. Mexx Meerdink provided the assist for his goal.
Emmen midfielder Jari Vlak leveled the match by scoring six minutes before halftime.
Emmen secured the victory with a goal deep into stoppage time when Vlak scored his second of the match.
