Berekum Chelsea head coach, Samuel Boadu has thrown full support to Dreams FC in the CAF Confederations Cup as he hopes to see them clinch the ultimate to help claim more continental football slots for the country.

The 'Still Believe' lads were really impressive in the group phase having finished as winners of Group C with 12 points; achieved from four wins and two loses from the six matches played.

They sailed through to the quarter final where they will face Malian giants Stade Malien, starting from this weekend in Bamako.

In an interview on Akoma FM, the ex- Hearts of Oak gaffer sees Dreams FC as a strong side, backed by an experience coach so he is very optimistic they will continue to make Ghana proud in the competition.

“I know Dreams FC to be a good team, especially Karim Zito who is my father in coaching."

"It is my hope Dreams FC wins the CAF Confederation Cup so that we can get additional slots.”

Dreams FC will face Stade Malien de Bamako in the first leg on Sunday, March 31, at the Stade du 26 Mars.
