The Lone Stars of Liberia have arrived in Accra for the international friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana on Thursday.
A 35-man contingent consisting of players, coaches and management committee team landed in Ghana's capital at 4:30am via Royal Air Maroc Arlines.
Whiles Ghana beat Central African Republic 2-1 to secure a ticket to the next Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire, Liberia failed to qualify after finishing third in their Group.
Liberia final group game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Morocco was postponed following the earthquake in Morocco which resulted in more than 800 people losing their lives and hundreds injured.
The international friendly between the Black Stars and the lone Stars of Liberia will take place at the Accra Sports stadium at 4pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
