The talented central midfielder has sealed a move to the Chamazi Stadium outfit until 2024.
Ghanaian midfielder James Akaminko has officially joined Tanzanian giants Azam FC on a free transfer in the ongoing transfer window.
The 26-year-old has joined the Tanzanian outfit on a two-year deal after ending his stay at Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics.
The club's official statement reads “We are happy to announce that we have signed two-year contract with Ghanaian midfielder James Akaminko, leaving Great Olympics”
He was once touted as one of the highly-rated midfielders in the Ghana Premier League.
Akaminko previously had stints with Medeama SC, Tema Youth, AshantiGold SC and Tunisian side US Tataouine.
He becomes the second Ghanaian footballer after Augustine Okrah to join a club in Tanzania after the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Akaminko scored two goals in his 28 appearances for Great Olympics last season.
