Black Stars duo Kudus Mohammed and Thomas Partey have been included in the 30-man nominees for the 2023 CAF Men's Player of the Year Award slated for next month.
Both players had stellar campaigns last season with their respective clubs and topped up with much more unmatched individual performances.
Kudus Mohammed as usual, continued with his extraterrestrial form with AFC Ajax last season and managed a massive 25-goal involvements; scored 18 goals, provided 7 assists and topped up with 2 more goals in his debut World Cup appearance.
After a highly-anticipated move to West Ham United, the 23-year old has three goals in all competitions so far and had his first Premier League start over the weekend in a painful home loss against Everton.
With Thomas Partey, he started very well and was having what could like his best ever season in his career, having played a vital role in nearly helping Arsenal win the Premier League but missed out narrowly to eventual champions Manchester City.
They both contributed immensely to help the Black Stars qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations- which will be the country's tenth consecutive appearance.
Notable players in the list include favourite Victor Osimhen, Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Vincent Aboubakar, Andre Zambo Anguissa and others.
The 2023 CAF football awards will be held onve again Morocco on Monday, December 12, 2023.
