Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Hasaacas Ladies faced a significant setback in their pursuit of a spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League, falling 3-0 to Nigeria’s Edo Queens in their second match of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers.
After a goalless draw in their opening game against Burkinabe side Omnisports Etincelle, Hasaacas Ladies were eager to secure their first win in the qualifiers.
However, Edo Queens proved to be a formidable opponent, netting three goals to claim a decisive victory.
This defeat leaves Hasaacas Ladies with one crucial match remaining in the qualifiers against AS Garde National. With the current standings working against them, the Ghanaian champions face an uphill battle to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Hasaacas Ladies are determined to overcome these challenges as they aim for another appearance in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
