Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo will unveil his squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar this week.
The Black Stars will host Chad at Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, and then travel to Morocco to face Madagascar on 24th March 2025. The Barea will host Black Stars in Morocco after their home grounds were deemed unsuitable to stage international matches.
According to Kickgh.com checks, the team will report for camp in Accra on either 17 or 18th March 2025 to prepare for the nerve-cracking decider.
Meanwhile, Andre Ayew is reportedly set for a Ghana comeback after a twelve-months imposed exile on his head by head coach Otto Addo.
The 35-year-old last played for the senior national team in March last year, featuring in international friendly games against Nigeria and Uganda.
However, Andre was initially dropped from the Black Stars squad for the June 2024 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.
He has not played for Ghana since, following Otto Addo's refusal to consider him for selection, but the exciting player is in line to make a comeback once again ahead of the Chad and Madagascar games.
After hosting Chad on 21st March, Otto Addo and his charges will travel to Morocco the next day on a charter flight to face Madagascar in the away match.
Black Stars are currently lying second in Group I with nine points garnered from three wins, and one defeat.
Comoros are leading the group, also on nine points, Madagascar are third on seven points, while Chad are sixth with zero points.
