Medeama SC captain Baba Abdulai Musah says the caliber of Al Ahly is a motivation to challenge when facing them in any game.
Musah stressed that he and his teammates will be leaving no stone unturned in Saturday's crunchy fixture against the Egyptian giants at the Al Salam Stadium.
“Al Ahly is a big club on the continent. To play such teams, you don’t need anyone to motivate you. As a player, playing such big games, getting a good game or result is alone to motivate you,” Baba Musah said during the pre-match interview
“It put you out there so the playing body! We’ve had discussions among ourselves and we’re prepared to face them. We’re determined to go all out and fight against the African giants.”
“We came here with a plan or a strategy. But we can’t disclose that here! We’re defending to attack and attacking to defend."
Medeama SC will be commencing their first-ever CAF Champions League group stage campaign against the record title holders in the match-day one of Group D on Saturday.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 19:00 GMT (7:00pm)
