The 2025 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is set to feature 24 teams, following the conclusion of qualifiers that delivered thrilling contests and historic moments.
Mozambique secured the final berth with a 2-1 victory over Guinea-Bissau, completing the roster for the eagerly anticipated tournament, scheduled for December 2025 in Morocco. As the host nation, Morocco qualifies automatically and will welcome Africa’s finest teams for a showdown of talent, skill, and ambition.
Morocco will be joined by some of the continent’s most decorated football nations, including reigning champions Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Algeria, and Egypt.
