Super Eagles interim coach, George Finidi has promised to make Nigerians proud ahead of their international friendly game against Ghana and Mali.
Finidi was given the nod to handle the Super Eagle on an interim basis following the resignation of Jose Peseiro who led the team to finish as runner-up in the AFCON 2023.
Finidi who was Peseiro's assistant and a former winger of Ajax Amsterdam took charge of the team training session on Tuesday ahead of the nerve cracking game against their West African counterparts in Marrakech on Friday.
Speaking in an interview, the Enyimba FC handler said; “Definitely as a coach there is responsibility, but that is what we do and we make sure we do it properly.

“We have to be calm and do the job. We know Nigerians are watching, so we have to make them proud.
“AFCON is gone so these are two games that are very crucial to Nigerians, so we will take it seriously and make sure we get the best out of these two games.
