The Black Meteors of Ghana will play their last group game tonight against Guinea in a herculean clash at the Grande Stade of Tangier in the ongoing Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.

This is more unless like a 'make or break' fixture for the two countries who are both yet to earn qualification from the first phase of the tournament.

Ghana kicked off their campaign on a higher note, kind courtesy a brace and an assist from Romanian-based forward Emmanuel Yeboah- a substitute, propelled them to a narrow 3-2 win over Congo Brazzaville in their opening game.

However, in between just two days, the Meteors failed to build on the momentum and lost heavily by 5-1 against host nation Morocco in the second round of matches.

However, Guinea redeemed themselves from their loss against Morocco in their opening fixture, to humble Congo 3-1 with a spirited second half performance to keep their qualification chances alive.

With both teams currently on three points each, Ghana will need a win to cruise into the semi final whiles only a draw will do for the Sily Nationale- due to goal difference.

TEAM NEWS

Both nations are without any major injury or suspension concerns heading into this epic tie.

However, Ibrahim Tanko's starting line up for this penultimate clash will be highly anticipated by many a football faithful in Ghana, following the poor display of the entire squad in their last game.
