The Cranes of Uganda arrived at the Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, Morocco, at 6:14 AM (Local Time) on Sunday for Friday's friendly match against Ghana.




The team left the shores of Uganda on Saturday, 16th March 2024, majorly with the local-based players while the foreign-based pack shall join the team in Morocco from their respective clubs.


It should be noted that Bobosi Byaruhanga, Nicholas Mwere and Allan Kyambadde withdrew from the squad after picking up injuries.


FUFA (Federation of Uganda Football Associations) Executive Committee Member Dr. Apollo Ahimbisibwe was the Leader of Delegation.

 


Uganda will be seeking to appease their fans with a win over the Black Stars at the Stade Grande Marrakech after failing to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
