Ghana coach Otto Addo says his side have to beat Mali in order for them to stand a chance in securing qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The talent connoisseur has charged his men to overturn their disastrous start in the qualifiers and bag home the three maximum points later tonight.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars of Ghana are now sitting fifth in Group I following the Central African Republic's win over Chad on Wednesday night.
However, ahead of the crucial hurdle at Bamako's Stade du 26 Mars, Addo reiterated the need for them to snatch the win over the Eagles, as he is ready to steer his side to victory.
"It's a very important match for us. We are one point behind Mali and we have to win to give us a chance of qualifying for the World Cup," he said.
"Mali are a very strong team. They have young talent in their team and it will be a tough game for us," Addo added.
The match is slated to kick-off at 19:00 GMT.
