FC Samartex gaffer, Nurudeen Amadu has expressed a huge displeasure following his side's wastefulness in their drawn game over the weekend against Moroccan heavyweights Raja Casablanca.

The Timber Giants played out a pulsating 2-2 stalemate with the Green Eagles at the Ohene Gyan Stadium over the weekend in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The visitors opened the scoring account through Mohammed Zrida before two subsequent goals at the stroke of half time from Francis Gyetuah and Michael Ephson handed the Ghanaian champions the lead for the first time in the game.

However, Mohammed Boulacsout's 63rd minute equalizer was enough to split the score after full time.

Speaking in a post-match presser, Nurudeen Amadu was clearly not a happy man with his side's performance as he feels they created enough chances and should have won by a huge margin.

He further stated he's now identified the Moroccans game plan and will match them boot for boot in the return encounter as they ain't giving up anytime soon.

"I’m not a happy person but I think we didn’t disgrace ourselves. It’s like the equalizer during the second half we just dished it out to them and we didn’t defend well in that situation. We were wasteful in front of goal and that cost us."

“We are aware when you make minor mistakes they punish you for it. Now we are going to fight because I have seen how they play and so I will also see how to strategize to go there. We will see how we will be resilient and so that we can go and fight them there."

The second leg is slated for September 21, at the Mohammed V Stadium, at 19:00GMT.
