Ghanaian midfielder Samed Abdul Salis has assured fans that the Black Stars will undergo significant improvement before the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Ivory Coast in January.

The four-time African champions faced a challenging path to secure their qualification for the tournament next year.

In their final Group E match of the AFCON qualifiers in Kumasi, the Black Stars had to rally from a goal deficit to defeat the Central African Republic.

Salis, who acknowledged his own challenging performance in the match, expressed confidence that the team would make progress in preparation for the Nations Cup.

He stated, "A bad game from me yesterday, but we made a good achievement together. We're going to work and improve on our way to the Africa Cup of Nations"

West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus delivered a splendid free-kick to equalize after an early goal from Louis Mafouta of the visiting team. Later in the game, Ernest Nuamah, another graduate of the Right to Dream Academy, secured the winning goal.

Following their match, the Black Stars returned to Accra on Thursday night and are set to commence immediate preparations for an upcoming friendly against Liberia.
