Saudi giants Al-Hilal have provided an injury update on Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou, ahead of their next league game against Al-Ettifaq.
The club confirmed in a statement that the experienced goalkeeper, known as “Bono,” was absent from the team’s training session on Sunday due to an injury.
It was revealed that Bounou underwent a treatment session focused on his shoulder, raising concerns over his physical readiness.
His participation in the upcoming match against Al-Ettifaq remains uncertain, with a final decision expected to depend on his recovery progress in the coming days.
Bounou remains one of the standout figures in the Al-Hilal squad and a key presence between the posts for the Saudi club.
Having made 12 appearances for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League this season, Bounou has six clean sheets and a save percentage of 65.
