Ghana attacking midfielder Kudus Mohammed has said that he and his teammates have switched their attention to their last group game against Uruguay on Friday at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Ajax star scored the match-winner as Black Stars secured a hard fought 3-2 win over South Korea in their second group game at Education City Stadium on Monday.
Goals from Mohammed Salisu and Kudus Mohammed ensured the Black Stars a 2-0 for the break but two-quick brace from Gue-Sung Cho restored the parity after the hour-mark.
It took a 68th minute strike from Kudus Mohammed, which was his second in the game to secure the West African nation a 3-2 win over the Taeguk Warriors.
“We got the three points today and the focus is on Uruguay,” Mohammed said after the game.
“So we go in with the same mentality and the same attitude. I know everyone is up for it.”
A win or draw in the Black Stars' final group game against Uruguay will send them to the 2022 World Cup round of 16.
The Black Stars currently occupies second place on the Group H table after two matches.
