The Ghana U20 forward has sealed a permanent switch to the Spanish giants in the ongoing transfer window.
FC Barcelona have officially announced the permanent signing of Ghana youth international Abdul Aziz Issah from Dreams FC for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old was rewarded a two-year contract by the Catalan club following his incredible output at the Barcelona B also known as Barca Atletic since in 2024. His contract has a one-year option of renewal.
The club's official statement reads: “FC Barcelona and Dreams FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Aziz Issah for two seasons, until June 30, 2028. The agreement includes the option to extend the contractual link for one more season.”
The signing ceremony was attended by FC Barcelona's Director of Youth Football, José Ramón Alexanko.
Aziz Issah had already played for the Blaugrana reserve team on loan for the last two seasons. Last season he played in 20 games, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
He is currently one of the highly-rated young forwards from Africa, who have been tipped to reach the level of Lamine Yamal, Micheal Olise, Dembele and others.
Aziz Issah has already made his debut for the senior national team of Ghana and he is expected to be part of Black Stars' coach Carlos Queiroz's future plans.
