Ghanaian young sensation, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been excluded from Sporting CP preseason squad for the 2022/23 football season.
The 19 year old joined the Green and Whites two years ago on a long term contact which runs until 2027.
The versatile midfielder has been very much impressive premising on his performance in the youth team but his role as a fringe in the first team hasn't quiet been good after making only 12 senior appearances last season.
Due to his inability to impress manager Rúben Amorim, Fatawu Issahaku wasn't added to the squad that left for to continue with their preseason.
There has been other reports that, he isn't likely to continue at the Estadio Jose Alvalade with a price tag of €15million labelled on him.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku featured for the Black Meteors at the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations few weeks ago but couldn't secure qualification to the 2024 Olympic Games.
He will hope to secure a new challenge elsewhere for the new season.
