 The Italian third division side have parted company with the 19-year-old teenager ahead of the new football season

 Newly-promoted Italian Serie C side AC Carpi have released Ghanaian youngster Augustine Ofoasi, the club have announced.

The left-back together with his other six team-mates were shown the exit at the Stadio Sandro Cabassi ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

An official statement over his release read; "AC Carpi bids farewell to Augustine Ofoasi – having concluded his current contract – who will not wear the red and white shirt next season."

"Arrived in Carpi at the beginning of the season after his experience in Lentigione last year, Ofoasi – Midfielder, but also full-back when needed, Ghanaian born in 2005 – leaves Carpi after having made 9 appearances in the red and white shirt."

"AC Carpi thanks you for your professionalism and wishes you a successful career, Ofo ! ⚪️🔴."

The ex-Bologna youth product will now hope to secure a deal with another suitors in this ongoing summer transfer window.

Ofoasi is yet to represent Ghana at any level on the international stage.
