Ghanaian youngster Prince Adu Kwabena has described playing in the Europa League as a dream come true for him since he's always desired something like that when growing up.

The 21-year-old has started on a higher note in his debut season and is looking forward to offering more than what he is doing now to establish himself as a mainstay and one of the supporters favourite in Plzen

He is much excited with the opportunity he had to play in the second biggest European club competition and was very elated when his first goal came against Eintracht Frankfurt in round one of the new format.

The young sensation further stated that he is hoping to help his club win the Czech First League this season despite trailing current league leaders Slavia Praha with 13 points after 24 matches.

“We still have the hope. We have a lot of matches to play but at the moment we take it game after game. We hope by the end of the season we end up as league winners.” 

“This feeling was great because playing the Europa League is a dream come true. I grew up watching the Europa League and Champions League so getting the opportunity to play at this level is great. My first goal was against Frankfurt and I was very happy about it.”

Prince Adu Kwabena has five goals in the league, three in the Europa and has a twelve goal-involvements in all competitions so far this campaign.

Viktoria Plzen will host Italian Serie A side SS Lazio at the Doosan Arena tonight in the first leg of round 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
