Saudi Pro League outfit Al Qadsiah have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah from KRC Genk in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old has inked a four-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2029 in a deal worth over €15 million from Belgian side KRC Genk.

The deal was finalised in the Netherlands where Bonsu Baah signed his contract and he will be joining his new teammates for pre-season later this month for the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League season's campaign.

Bonsu Baah’s rise has been meteoric. After trials with European giants such as Barcelona, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, his breakthrough came in March 2023 when he joined Norwegian top-flight outfit Sarpsborg from Ghanaian third-tier club Shooting Stars FC.

Just 12 matches into his stint in Norway, Belgian side Genk snapped him up, beating several European clubs to his signature.

Over two seasons with KRC Genk, he made 90 appearances in all competitions, registering five goals and seven assists.

Following his explosive performances in the Belgian Pro League, Ghana coach Otto Addo handed Bonsu Baah a debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana in March.

He made his maiden appearance for the Black Stars against Nigeria and also played an instrumental role in Ghana's emphatic win over Trinidad and Tobago in the 2025 Unity Cup at the Gtech Community Stadium in London.
