Ghana and Fenerbahçe defender, Alexander Djiku has hailed the strong character they exhibited in their precious 3-1 win over Trabzonspor over the weekend in round 30 of the Turkish Super Lig.
The 30-year-old made the starting line up but made way after half-time for Brazilian international Anderson Talisca - who eventually got a hatrick in the game.
While Djiku is very much aware he has to improve in certain aspects of his game to continue to be in the good books of manager Jose Mourinho, he praised the character the entire team exhibited especially when coming from a league cup loss to bitter rivals Galatasaray.
“Big character from everyone, until the end. Thank you all for the support", he wrote on social media.
Fenerbahçe are still in the title race trailing the league leaders with three points and will still continue to fight for the title till the final day.
The Yellow-Canaries will play as guests to Sivasspor in the next round of matches.
