Ghanaian international, Alexander Djiku's injury gradually looking serious and will miss RC Strasbourg's French Ligue 1 fixture against Olympique Marseille this weekend.
The highly-rated center-back injured himself in the course of the game against Toulouse last week and was taken off on the 26th minute for Lucas Perrin.
The extent of his injury is yet to be determined with only few days left to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Reacting to his injury after their last game, manager Julien Stephan in his post-match presser stated the injury is a little one and is hoping it won't be anything serious.
However, it is looking serious since the 28 year old has now been ruled out of their crunchy clash this weekend and will be a huge blow for the Blue and Whites since his presence would have been very malleable at the back.
The aggressive defender has been sensational and an Integral member of the Black Stars since his debut and played a vital role in helping the Black Stars qualify to the Mundial.
He might miss out on Ghana's World Cup squad depending on the length of his knock.
