Ghana defender Alidu Seidu was red-carded in Clermont Foot home victory over Angers in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon
Clermont Foot came from behind to record a 2-1 home win over Angers in their match-week 31 encounter at the Stade Gabriel Montpied.
Two first half penalties brilliantly converted by Grejohn Kyei and Muhammed Cham Saracevic aided the home side to rally from an early goal of the visitors scored by Adrien Hunou.
Clermont Foot were reduced to ten men on the stroke of halftime after Neto Borges was shown the second yellow card. They managed to hold on with their lead despite being manless.
Alidu Seidu was also sent off for picking the two yellow cards within six minutes of the dying embers of the game for unsportmanlike behaviour.
He has managed to feature 24 appearances across all competition this season so far
