Ghana international Alidu Seidu has charged his Clermont Foot teammates to keep hopes alive after their back-to-back defeats in the French Ligue 1.
Clermont Foot will aim to put their bad start to the season behind them and get back to winning ways as they host fellow slow starters Metz in matchday 3 fixture on Sunday, August 27.
The Lancers were given a reality check against Reims as their impressive last season form came to an abrupt halt with the 2-0 defeat.
Pascal Gastien's men had so far conceded six goals in their two games in the French top tier and they did not want the blip to erupt into something more serious.
Seidu, who played the full 90 minutes and grabbed some ramble reviews in his side’s 2-0 weekend loss, said: "Let’s come together and fight till the end."
