Ghanaian international, Andre Ayew scored for Le Havre AC in their painful 1-2 home defeat to RC Lens earlier today in match-day 17 of the French Ligue 1.

The 35-year-old was included in the starting line up and had a very descent game but wasn't enough to earn his side precious points.

Andre opened the scoring account for the hosts in just eight minutes from kickoff but the visitors equalised twenty minutes later through Central African international Goduine Koyalipou.

With thirteen minutes to full time, Colombian international Deiver Machado found the net crucially to win the game for RC Lens

Le Havre after today's loss have now extended their losing streak to five and are currently occupying the 17th spot with just 12 points.

Andre Ayew has now netted 2 goals in ten league appearances and will face Stade Reims in the next round of matches.
