Former Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew scored and assisted in the space of five minutes to power Le Havre to a vital 3-4 win away at RC Lens in round 24 of the French Ligue 1.

The evergreen attacker continues to steal headlines in a league where he started and earned himself an impressive rating of 8.1 from Sofascore before making way for French international Antoine Joujou in the 74th minute.

The homesters went 2-0 up in less than twenty minutes courtesy goals from Morocco's Neil El Aynaoui and Ruben Aguilar.

Andre Ayew assisted Senegalese international Issa Soumare to pull one back and scored on his own few moments later to get his side back on level terms.

Florian Sotoca scored three minutes into the second half to restore the host's lead but two subsequent goals from Josue Casimir and Ahmed Hassan won it for Le Havre in the end.

The 35-year-old has netted four goals and provided an assist in ten matches in the Ligue 1 and will hope to get more as the season progresses.

Andre Ayew has widely been speculated to finally return to the Black Stars for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar after almost a year out.
