Ghana skipper Andre Ayew continued his impressive performance for Le Havre with fifth goal of the season against RC Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon.
Le Havre continued their bid for top-flight league survival with a 3-1 resounding victory over RC Strasbourg in the match-week 32 clash at the Stade Oceane.
Two-goal hero Yassine Kechta opened the scoring for Le Havre with a fine strike in the 24th minute before doubling their lead in the 65th minute of the game.
RC Strasbourg pulled one back through a 86th minute effort from French right-wing back Frederic Guilbert but the two-goal lead was restored by Andre Ayew in the dying embers of the game.
The 34-year-old, who enjoyed the entire duration of the game, brilliantly registered his name on the score sheet with a brilliant strike in the 90+6 minute.
Ayew joined Le Havre on a free transfer in November 2023 and has manage the notch up five goals in 17 league appearances for the Sky and Navy lads.
