Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo says he is happy with his strong start at Manchester City and wants to keep performing well.

Semenyo joined the Premier League champions during the winter transfer window and has settled quickly, and has so far notched four goals since his arrival.

He was again on the scoresheet on Sunday as City drew 2–2 with Tottenham Hotspur in a thrilling match.

Speaking about his early days at the club, the former Bournemouth attacker said he is pleased but hungry for more.

“It’s important to hit the ground running. I feel I came here with the intention to continue being who I am,” Semenyo said.

“I want to get Man City fans off their seats when I'm on the pitch. It’s been a good start for me here and God willing it continues…”

Semenyo’s move to Manchester City was a major one, with the £65 million deal breaking both Ghanaian and Bournemouth transfer records.

The 25-year-old has now scored 12 Premier League goals for Bournemouth and Manchester City, making this his best season in England’s top tier.
