Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana is weighing up his options for the upcoming season, with a potential departure from Southampton looming large according to the Athletic.

The 22-year-old has caught the attention of several European clubs, including AS Roma, Nice, and Ajax, all of whom are keen to lure him away from St. Mary's Stadium.

However, Southampton are determined to keep hold of their prized asset, but only if his £30 million release clause is met. The Saints are unwilling to let Sulemana go without a substantial fee, despite the interest from other clubs.

In recent weeks, Nice had proposed a loan deal with an option to buy, which was rejected by Southampton.

Meanwhile, other suitors have also made loan offers with an option for a permanent transfer, but these too have been turned down.

Sulemana impressed in the Championship last season, making 25 appearances as Southampton secured promotion back to the Premier League. His form has not gone unnoticed, with Lille and Marseille also believed to be interested in securing his services.

As Sulemana contemplates his future, it remains to be seen whether he will remain at Southampton or take the plunge and join one of his suitors.

With his contract running until 2025, the Ghanaian international has no shortage of options, but ultimately, it will be up to him to decide where his future lies.
