Ghana Legend, Asamoah Gyan says Kwadwo Asamoah was a great player as he insists that it was an honour to play with him.
Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah announced his retirement from professional football this week after more than a decade in the game.
The 33-year-old played for Udinese, Juventus, Inter Milan and Cagliari in a hugely successful career.
Kwadwo Asamoah scored four goals in 74 caps for Ghana.
Ghana will lock horns with Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the Group H of the World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana's all-time record goalscorer, Asamoah Gyan featured with Kwadwo Asamoah for the Black Stars for more than a decade.
Asamoah Gyan insists that Kwadwo Asamoah was a great player.
"Great player by all standards. It was great to play with you bro. Enjoy your retirement bro Kwadwo Asamoah,” Asamoah Gyan on his Twitter page.
