Ghanaian international, Joseph Attamah Larweh has extended his contract with Turkish top-flight side Kayserispor ahead of the 2023/24 football season.
Initially, there were reports last month that, the Black Stars defender has mutually ended his relationship with the Anatolian Stars and has already received offers from other clubs.
Subsequently, the reports turned out to be false after signing a new two year deal which keeps him at the Kadir Has Stadium until 2025.
After extending his stay with Kayserispor, the 29 year old stated how pleased he is to continue and has called for nothing but their support heading into the new campaign.
"Hello Kayserispor fans, I’m happy to be back. I have signed two-years to renew my contract with the club. I know is going to be difficult this season, so all that I need from you guys is your support. We can push the flag of the club high with your support, our support and with my support the club finish in a good position."
Attamah, since joining Kayserispor from Basaksehir in August 2020, has contributed significantly to the team's performance, playing 79 matches, scoring two goals, and providing two assists.
Unfortunately, Attamah faced challenges during the 2022/23 season, as he was limited to only nine games due to an injury.
