The Austrian top-flight campaigners have reportedly landed the services of the 25-year-old, with the deal set to be officialized in the summer

Ghanaian forward Kelvin Boateng has joined Austrian Bundesliga side FK Austria Wien, according to an emerging report from the Austrian media.

The Right to Dream academy product has been an outstanding figure at First Vienna FC in the Austrian second division contest since joining them from Slovakian elite division side Spartak Trnava in 2023.

Per newspaper Kronen Zeitung, the Generali Arena outfit have snapped up the services of the ex-FC Porto B man and would be linking up with them on a free transfer in the summer as his current deal with First Vienna FC is set to expire on June 30,2025.

Boateng, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, has so far been involved in 20 games by netting 12 goals and assisting 1 for Vienna across all competitions in this current 2024-25 campaign.

With his fine form in the Austrian football competitions, Boateng could soon become an integral member of the Ghana Senior Men's National Team at the international level.
